Kathryn Wylde

The Partnership for New York City

Kathryn Wylde is the longtime leader of the nonprofit Partnership for New York City, where she’s served as president and CEO since 2001, building connections between the city’s business community and government leaders to strengthen New York’s economy and infrastructure. Under her tenure, the Partnership has helped guide New York City and its leaders through a number of fiscal crises, including the Great Recession of 2008 and today’s ongoing recovery from the COVID-19 crisis. During the pandemic alone, the Partnership has spearheaded efforts to bolster the city’s public transportation network through its Transit Innovation Partnership with the MTA, as well as helping business owners navigate city and state rules for reopening and access resources through its Small Business Resource Network. Widely quoted in the media as an expert in housing and economic development, Wylde also serves on the board of the NYC Economic Development Corporation and Fund for Public Schools, among other organizations.
